WITH GRETE WAITZ LONDON '83
SYNCHRONIZED RUNNING. Ran with Grete Waitz from 17 miles point to Westminster Bridge. She ran 2:25:29 for a World Best Time to my 2:25:35. , beating my 1982 PB by 4 minutes 10 seconds.

- Started club racing in 1963 at the age of 14. Finishing 7th in the Machester Schools XC champs. Consequently,was invited to join SALE HARRIERS by coach Alan Robertshaw. Enjoyed good times and success with Sale Harriers on the country (9th. Northern Jr. 12th Inter Counties for Lancs) and steeplechase (3rd AAA Jr.) Moving to Yorkshire, establishing THE COMPLETE RUNNER SHOPS and the FASTRAX brand I joined Bingley Harriers, Valley Striders,Ilkley Harriers, returning to Sale Harriers in 2009 to bring running career to full circle. Now 2011, with 139 10ks done, 103 10 milers, 102 half marathons (3 wins)and 26 marathons (2 wins) completed. (PBs 15.15,31.45 51.14 67.55 and 2:25:33)Still running every day,managing 45 miles most weeks but P.Bs very much a thing of the past!
